Day 1 – Arriving  in Tehran 

Gear up to peel back the many fascinating layers of Iran when you arrive on your pre-dawn arrival at Tehran airport. Here you will be met by our representative carrying our logo  card, who will transfer you to your hotel. After check in you will have time to rest before your morning tour of Tehran starts. Today you will see for yourself how Tehran is  a modern megalopolis, that prides itself in having unique museums and stunning gardens. Your tour will begin with a trip to the Archeological Museum, which is followed by a delicious lunch at a traditional Iranian restaurant where you will sample a wide range of delightful Persian dishes and desserts. Next, prepare to be dazzled with a visit to the Crown Jewels Museum where you can see one of the greatest diamonds -Darya-e-Noor which means ‘sea of light’. Finally, you will get a chance to see a variety of Persian hand-woven carpets and rugs in the Carpet Museum which houses more than 100 spectacular pieces from all over Iran.  Here you will also be given an insight into the history of these carpets. Please note the priority in sightseeing may be changed due to the time of your arrival, preference of your guide and also official and unofficial holidays of some museums.


Day 2 – Tehran, fly to Shiraz 

Discover how Iranian royalty once lived with a morning visit to the Sa’ad Abad Complex which is home to 18 magnificent historical palaces. You will explore 2 of these and learn how this palaces were built by the Pahlavi dynasty. Next stop will be the Museum of Ceramics and Glass. Housed in a beautiful Qajar-era building, the museum has hundreds of exhibits from Neishabur, Kashan, Rey and Gorgan, dating from the 2nd millennium BC to the modern day.  Then you will enjoy a tasty Iranian lunch in a traditional restaurant. After you have refuelled you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Shiraz. On the way to the hotel you will pay a visit to Shah e Cheragh. This is one of the most beautiful shrines in Iran with its beautiful dome, wonderful lighting and mirror-work . Finally check into your hotel and unwind.


Day 3 –  Shiraz

Immerse yourself with the beauty Shiraz which enjoys balmy weather and is considered one of the oldest cities of classical Persia. It is also known as being a regional hub for commerce for over a thousand years. Today, you will be awe-inspired when you visit the glorious Karim Khan Palace, the splendid Vakil Mosque, Vakil Bazaar, and Nasir Almolk Mosque. In the afternoon you will pay homage to the city’s famous poets such as Hafez and Sa’adi with a visit to their tombs. In the evening, you will visit Ali-Ebn-e-Hamzeh which is the tomb of Emir Ali, a nephew of Shah Cheragh, who also died here while en route to Khorasan to help Imam Reza. Be prepared to marvel at its structure which includes eye-catching bulbous Shirazi dome, dazzling Venetian mirror work, stained-glass windows and an intricate, ancient wooden door. Take a stroll through the Jahan Nama Garden and witness its tall and proud cedars. Finally explore the Delgosha Garden and Khajoy-e-Kermani tomb from where you can enjoy stunning views of Shiraz.At night you will feast on a dinner in a restaurant at Niayesh Boutique Hotel in Shiraz.


Day 4 – Isfahan via Persepolis & Necropolis  

Feast on hearty breakfast to fuel up for a busy day sightseeing. Your adventure will start at the ancient city of Persepolis which was once the capital of the Achaemenid Empire.

Next is Necropolis where you will explore the magnificent burial place of Achaemenid kings. The site also provides seven bas-reliefs dating back to Elamite and Sassanid periods.  Finally drive toward Isfahan and stay there in a hotel overnight.


Day 5 – Isfahan 

Prepare to fall in love with Isfahan which is considered the pearl of traditional Islamic archaeology. Isfahan prides itself in having fascinating historical garden palaces.  Legend has it that the city was founded at the time of Tahmoures or Keykavous and because of its glories has been entitled ‘Half the World’.  Your full day tour includes the famed Imam Square, which is also known as Naqsh-e-Jahan, and is a huge square – second in the world to Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. You will also tour the architectural marvels of Sheikh Lotfollah and Imam Mosques, Aliqapu Palace, Chehel Sutoon and Hasht Behesht Palaces. You will also visit one of the most famous bazaars in Iran, where you can buy the arts and crafts that Isfahan is so well renowned for. This is a great place to do some souvenir shopping.


Day 6 – visiting Isfahan 

Travel back in time as you explore the beauty of Isfahan’s Jame mosque which holds in itself the passage of several centuries of historical Islamic evolution. This mosque is a gallery of Islamic architecture in which the progress of the architecture from the outset of Islam until recent times is evident. Then you will visit Vank Church which is one of the most beautiful Armenian churches in the world and will undoubtedly capture the attention of every Christian.  Your day will conclude with a visit to Monar Jomban which is the tomb of a Sufi and boasts shaking minarets and some historical bridges. You will have the evening free to spend at leisure. Relax in your hotel or explore Isfahan’s nightlife.


Day 7 – Kashan via Abyaneh 

Today you will travel to Kashan, but will visit the UNESCO recognised village of Abyaneh along the way. It sits at the foot of Mount Karkas and is in the vicinity of desert. Here you can appreciate the serenity of this quaint village with its splendid archaeology. You will meet the dwellers who speak, live and dress in the original Persian style. Next, you will visit Tabatabaiha and Borojerdiha houses in Kashan and some other historical places specially chosen by your tour guide to enhance your learning of the previous century’s architecture -the Qajar era. Finally head back to your hotel to unwind.


Day 8 – Depart Iran 

Enjoy the final breakfast of your holiday. Take time to relish the sunshine as you replay memories of the adventures you have enjoyed in the past few days. Today you will visit  Qom, if it is possible, before being transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
