Day 1 – Arrive in Beijing (NO MEALS)

Gear up for an amazing holiday once you arrive in Beijing. When you land, our friendly guide will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. You will have the  rest of the day free to spend as you wish. Feel free to  rest and sleep off  any jetlag or even venture out and explore the local area. Your guide will introduce you to halal restaurants and the surrounding area so you can make the most of your free time.


Day 2 – Beijing (B, HALAL L)

Peel back the many fascinating layers of Beijing as you explore the area today. Today your Beijing adventure will begin with a trip to Tiananmen Square. As the largest public square in the world, Tiananmen Square can hold over one million people. Next,  you will head to the Forbidden City, which is the best-preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. Be wowed by the magnificence of royal architecture and imperial treasures. You will visit a pearl shop before feasting on a delicious halal lunch, after which, you will go to Niujie Mosque to perform your prayers. As the largest and oldest mosque in Beijing, Niujie Mosque is a must-visit destination for Muslims. It’s grand size and mix of Islamic and traditional Chinese culture makes it an amazing landmark. Then you will visit Muslim Supermarket, which sells various kinds of halal food and products. Finally, you can enjoy the ride of your life as you go on a rickshaw ride at Hutongs.


Day 3 – Beijing (B, HALAL L, Peking Roasted Duck for dinner)

Start the day by coming face to face with one of the major landmarks of China – The Great Wall. Get your camera ready as you  visit the Great Wall along the  Badaling Section, which was the greatest military project in ancient time. After taking countless holiday selfies at this magnificent site, you will stop for a delicious lunch. Next you will visit a Jade shop, before  visiting Summer Palace, which is the largest and the most well-preserved royal park in China that boasts lakes, gardens and palaces.

You will have plenty of time to wander through the Chinese Royal Garden which has the largest scale of conservation in the world.  You are bound to have worked up an appetite after a busy day – which is good news because tonight you will taste the famous Peking Roasted Duck for dinner.


Day 4 – Beijing & Xian  (B, HALAL L)

Culture vultures will be in their element this morning, as  you will visit 798 Art District or Dashanzi Art District, which are a part of a thriving artistic community. Next you will have a stop at Beijing Olympic Green. Here you can appreciate the unique and stunning buildings including Bird’s Nest, Water Cube, and Ling Long Pagoda. After lunch, you can  pray at Madian Mosque, before your transfer to Beijing Airport to take a flight to Xian.  Once you land, a guide will welcome you and then escort you to your hotel for check-in.


Day 5 –  Xian (B, HALAL L, HALAL D)

This morning you will visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses. It is dubbed as “World’s Eighth Great Wonder” and the largest excavation of the 20th century. Be wowed by the numerous life size terracotta figures of warriors and horses with different features, facial expressions, clothing and hairstyles – all arranged in battle formations. Be sure to pull out your camera and snap this fascinating landmark. You will also visit a Pottery Factory to see  a reproduction of the Terracotta Warriors. After lunch, you will return back to the downtown area  and pay a visit to Great Mosque and the Muslim Quarter. Finally as night falls, you will enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dance Show. Be wowed as you watch this wonderful performance of ancient music and dance, before heading back to your hotel.


Day 6 –  Xian & Guilin (B, HALAL L)

After breakfast at hotel, you will go on a tour starting at the magnificent Ancient City Walls. Next you will be taken to Shaanxi History Museum which houses a large collection of historic and cultural relics, including murals, paintings, pottery, and coins. Culture vultures will love the museum which will give you a better insight into ancient Chinese history and culture. You will then be taken to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival, you will meet your guide and then be transferred  to your hotel for check-in. Finally put your feet up and unwind.


Day 7 – Guilin (B, HALAL L)

Today you will enjoy the Gulin halal tour, which will start at the Reed Flute Cave. This  magnificent and spectacular underground palace is made of precious stone, corals, and jades. It is one of the most sparking pearls among the large number of grotesque caves. You will also see Elephant Trunk Hill which looks like an elephant is dipping its snout into the Li River. Get your camera ready to snap this and  Fubo Hill which is a unique shape and a garden park in the city centre.


Day 8 – Guilin to Yangshuo  (B, buffet lunch on the cruise)

Today you will take the Li River Cruise tour sailing down from Guilin to Yangshuo. Enjoy a moment of tranquillity as you relish in the beautiful landscape and feast on lunch during the cruise. Once you arrive in Yangshuo, you can go to the West Street to hunt for souvenirs and sip on a cup of coffee at the roadside.


Day 9 –  Yangshuo, Guilin & Shanghai (B, HALAL L)

Experience the hustle and bustle of the Yangshou traffic for 5 minutes before you escape onto the country roads, lanes and tracks of the beautiful Yangshou countryside. Today you will enjoy biking through the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains – giving you a fascinating insight into life in rural China. Centuries old farming methods sit side by side with mobile phones and satellite dishes. It is an fascinating sight to behold.


Day 10 – Shanghai (B, HALAL L, HALAL D)

Today your sightseeing adventure will begin with a visit to Yuyuan Garden. As a famous classical garden in Shanghai, Yuyuan Garden boasts stunning natural rocks, pavilions, ornamental ponds and flower walls. It is a great place to take a holiday selfie. And then you will take your time to visit the City God Temple Market. After lunch, pray at Xiaotaoyuan Mosque, and then visit the Xin Tian Di and Former French Concession. Your next destination will be the Bund, which is on the waterfront. The Bund is the best place to enjoy  views of Huangpu River.  After that you will visit a Silk Factory and then go up to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower to enjoy  a bird’s view of this metropolis city. Finally as evening falls,  you will be entertained with the Acrobatics Shows after dinner.


Day 11 – Depart Shanghai  (B)

Relish in the final breakfast of your holiday as you no doubt replay all the wonderful memories you have created. Your guide will transfer you back to the airport for your departure flight.
